Wild Child #188

Wild child cloud

Wild Child

Ever stop and wonder about the rhythm that you are walking to at this time of life?

Wonder about the times when you have been dancing to a calm tune or one that is wild.

There is music that brings out a reason to go toe tapping with friends or privately sway to the beat as dishes are being swished through hot water.

Let’s stay with the fun of wild child music that may have come to you.

You can close your eyes and listen to them now.

Ones that come to mind for me are about going around in circles playing games as a child as I looked up to see what lies in the clouds.

Then dashing to and fro in leaps and bounds to go on and on with new music.

Wild Child talks about feeling alive.

There is a song by Enya that shares more in a verse.

Wild Child talks more about feeling alive and knowing that you’ve missed nothing.

Ever feel alive

And you’ve nothing missing

You don’t need a reason

Let the day go on and on

That is the joy that I’ve felt many times.

Looking up, seeing what there is to be seen, and dancing to the tune being played.

There are times in the year that these clouds go from white and fluffy to suddenly raining down with thunder and splashing

Other times the splashing has come with new young people in my realm.

Seeing the puddles that are ready to jump in and hop over.

Picture this with me.

A flash of a joyful grin came as an invitation to run through the recently fallen rain was sent with the look.

Yes! It was time to go with the rhythm of the moment.

Let’s dance every summer that we can when this comes to us.

Little ones and tall ones have sent this wild child look to me.

Little ones and tall ones have sent this wild child look to me over the years.

Think of the words that come to you now.

Are they still there with people you have near you?

Feel them pulling you in and let the love for you go on and on.

That could be the part of the rhythm and the dance that belongs to you.

Even when the rain has fallen down all around, there is time to let the wild child rhythm flow.

There are other ways to let the flow come.

These clouds also bring reminders of joy, and what can be found in our own backyards.

Moments of letting a wild side be free.

Perhaps there is a way.

Does that come with moments of letting a wild side be free?

What could that look like for each of us?

For me it has looked like these things over time.

Dancing as a wild child, jumping over puddles and looking up at the clouds to see what joy can come in the moment.

That is what I now know.

How can you look up to see what the moment brings for you?

Think about the rhythm of your life and wonder about where you are walking to next.

Life can bring you unexpected ways to jump and dance.

Let’s do this one step at a time together, my friends.
