Sky of Stars #192

Sky of Stars
Late night is when I like to stand outside and look up. This is when I see a sky of stars.
There are, of course, times when I need to step deeper into a clutter free zone to look deeper into the heavens to see a sky full of stars even clearer.
This could be when I’m on the mountain near a stream that gurgles nearby.
Sitting on the deck of a cabin that reaches even closer to the sky of stars as I pull a jacket close around my ears to stay warm in the night air.
The sudden call of friends sitting knee to knee around a grassy open space brings me down to join a conversation about what we might be doing in the future.
Stars, warm open smiles and hope come with the possibilities of looking up with others nearby.
It seems this is when I feel the pull to look higher and higher as the stars become brighter.
The sky of stars beckons me with their own rhythm and beauty.
The sky of stars beckons me with their own rhythm and beauty.
Now is the time to open my mind and feet to the dance that is here, they say.
Let’s see what we can find as the sky opens up to us on this deeper look.
There is another view that has come to me along with mountain views and hope.
The rhythm of life tends to bring on song and it certainly is the case with the sky.
Eventually the sky is full of stars with music by Coldplay strumming and humming along.
Can you feel a song coming on with me?
This time the song is playing on repeat for a few reasons.
There is a song or two that can pull my hand to the volume, turning it up as my gaze goes right up to where the stars are in the sky.
It tore me apart as I sang at full volume.
Then brought solace to my soul as
I also started to find my hand starting to gesture and then sign.
The memory of it rolls out of my eyes onto my cheeks with intensity.
Y’all. This song brings out the pure joy and love of times past and present.
Drumming and strumming to when the sky represented hope.
Drumming and strumming to when the sky full of stars represented hope here and now.
Hope to come and what had been.
When life was full and unfailing.
With a trail of a star that ran at full blast while showing every brightness available was in my life.
Oh my, the song that came was exactly like looking at the sky of stars.
Brilliant, bright, with a heavenly view.
There came another moment when I began to look around at other things that could bring this joy, hope and wonder to me every day.
When groups of items around me brought on the full volume of life.
Once I found it while looking beyond what I could see as I stood next to others.
Then it was when I sat in a meeting, sharing experiences with our Tall One.
More opportunities to sit knee to knee, looking up to find nodding heads and common ground had been found.
As if silent stars were being transformed into a group in a room right from the sky.
Eyes had been fixed on each other that time as if to say yes, that is how it felt for me as well.
A sky full of stars seems to be showering around me.
The ways that a sky full of stars seems to be showering around me is one more way stars have shown up.
This bowl recently came to me as a way to show a sky of stars.
If you look around the edge and then in the middle, you’ll see what looks similar to a sky, with shining constellations popping through.
Right in the middle is where I have looked deeper for days.
The rocks there have settled in to become their own sky of stars for me.
Orange pulling our eye to the deepest part of the bowl as if to let me know that there is always more to see.
Always more to look up for even when I am looking deep into space to find a rhythm.
Consider what may be in front of you that can help you look up, find your sky full of stars and look beyond what you can see.
